Metadata cleaning does not hide faces

A face is part of the visible image, not a metadata field. Removing EXIF data will not blur or remove a person’s face, and the current Clean My Photo scanner does not perform face detection or editing.

If a face must be protected, use an image editor with a deliberate blur or redaction tool, then inspect the exported copy for both visible and hidden information.
